A gas turbine for aircrafts, particularly jet engines with air-cooled turbine blades whereby the cooling air is taken off either directly or indirectly from a compressor stage; a heat-exchanger with a closed circulation is provided in the cooling system whose heat-absorbing part is arranged in a cooling air channel disposed between the compressor and the turbine rotor.
