<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve transmission of information between a primary coil and a secondary coil under a simple configuration in performing non-contact power transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A charger includes a full-bridge composite resonance circuit 10 in which a resonance circuit 12 including the primary coil L1 is connected to an intermediate point of a full-bridge circuit 11 using switching elements FET1-FET4, as a circuit for generating alternating power. A primary side controller 13 controls to turn ON-OFF each of the switching elements FET1-FET4 in a mode for inducing alternating power in the primary coil L1, and modulates the amplitude of the alternating power induced on the primary coil L1 by changing a resistance value as the full-bridge composite resonance circuit 10 including the resonance circuit 12 on the basis of information to be transmitted to the secondary coil L2. The portable apparatus applies full-wave rectification to the alternating power induced in the secondary coil L2, and demodulates the information through a secondary side controller 24 from the level of the DC power of the portable apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
