PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rupture of a seal material to achieve sealing performance over a long period by allowing the seal material to move following the relative displacement of both members with a gap between the both member sealed. SOLUTION: The seal material 10 includes a viscoelastic body 11 formed cylindrical, and a film material 12 fixed to the inner peripheral face of the viscoelastic body 11 to cover the inner peripheral face. In the sealing condition of the seal material 10, the press-contact faces press-contacting each other of the film material 12 have sliding characteristics for allowing the slide in the direction of intersecting the direction of receiving press-contacting force.
