PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an existing business system as a Web service to a client more easily without changing the existing business system. SOLUTION: The Web service base system 2 includes: a communication processing means 22 transmitting/receiving a message to/from the client 1 according to a predetermined communication protocol, a plurality of service end points 23, and a Web service providing means 24 common between the all Web services. The communication processing means 22 sends a service request from the client 1 to the Web service providing means 24 via the service end points 23. The Web service providing means 24 converts the service request to that in a data format processable by business systems 7 and 8 to transmit it to the business systems 7 and 8 meeting a Web service designated by the service request, and converts processing results from the business systems 7 and 8 into those in a data format processable by the communication processing means 22 to transmit them to the communication processing means 22.
