摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an exchange-coupling energy between an antiferromagnetic layer and a fixed layer to improve the stability of magnetization of the fixed layer in an exchange-coupling film including the stacked antiferromagnetic layer and fixed layer, a magneto-resistance effect head, a magnetic sensor and a magnetic memory including the film. SOLUTION: Provided is: the exchange-coupling film 10 comprising the stacked antiferromagnetic layer 12 and fixed layer 13, wherein a magnetization direction of the fixed layer 13 is magnetically fixed in one direction by the antiferromagnetic layer 12. The the magneto-resistance effect head, the magnetic sensor, and the magnetic memory, each having the film, are also provided. The antiferromagnetic layer 12 is constituted of Mn-X (X=Ir, Rh and Ru), and a major constituent of the fixed layer 13 is constituted of Co-Fe-Mn. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
