PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook imparting an outer appearance or texture different from a conventional notebook at a lowest possible cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing booklet 2 includes a binding step of obtaining a booklet body 3 by superposing surface covers 32 and 33 on middle sheets 31 for writing and coating by using an adhesive 34 on an edge of rear side of the surface covers and middle sheets, performing a cloth-binding for binding continuous cloth 5 for concealing nearly the entire area of the rear surface and surface covers 32 and 33 of the booklet body 3 on the rear surface and surface covers 32 and 33 of the booklet body 3, and a cutting step of cutting edges of the booklet body 3 and the cloth 5, wherein at least the binding step is used in common with a conventional method for manufacturing of a booklet.
