PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic exhibiting good spreadability at coating on the hair, stable without causing drip, hardly imparting starchy feeling and sticky feeling after drying, and imparting settled feeling, gloss and conditioning effects to the hair. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic includes (A) a vinylpyrrolidone-vinylimidazole-3-methyl-1-vinylimidazolium chloride-methacrylic acid copolymer, (B) one or more kinds of oil components selected from a dimethiconol, a dimethicone, a hydrocarbon oil and a vegetable oil liquid at room temperature, and (C) a polyether-modified silicone.
