PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make appearance good by preventing the wrinkle of a covering fabric from being generated even though a frame has a curve part where the curved grade is sharp when stretching the covering fabric on the frame of a seat or a backrest of a chair. SOLUTION: In a structure for locking the covering fabric 7 by attaching elongate plate-shape locking plates 15 to right and left fringe parts of the covering fabric 7 respectively and fitting the right and left fringe parts into a groove 11 formed in side frame 6 along with the locking plates 15, the locking plate 15 is divided in the curve part 6c of the side frame 6.
