PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that in frequent occurrence of generation of a great amount of micro plankton caused by eutrophication in various city water sources throughout the country wherein the micro plankton causes the filtrate turbidity to rise by 0.1 degree (guideline by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) or more by leaking out of a rapid filtration pond, while currently only countermeasures of continuous monitoring of the turbidity change of the filtrate night and day and strengthening of a pre-flocculant or injection of a post-flocculant are performed only when the filtrate turbidity is increased, bothering the city water enterprises for the treatment countermeasures. SOLUTION: The water purification automatic continuous monitoring device includes the whole functions after a floc formation pond in a water purification facility of an actual facility, with the size thereof reduced. Time before measuring the filtrate turbidity is set to one hour to 30 minutes equivalent to 1/6-1/12 of that of an actual facility. The variation of the filtrate turbidity is predicted five hours or more before based on the obtained result, and the timing of strengthening the flocculation is properly set, to thereby cancel the delay in taking action in an actual facility.
