PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine exhaust pipe, a gasket provided to the exhaust pipe, and a thickness setting method of the gasket capable of securing necessary sealing performance even when the exhaust pipe is thermally deformed. SOLUTION: The engine exhaust pipe 1 is provided on a pipe body 2 and the end part of the pipe body 2, and includes: a joint surface 4 joined to an exhaust system component member 10; a plurality of bolt holes 6 provided on the joint surface 4 and into which a bolt 7 is inserted; and the gasket 8 interposed between the joint surface 4 and the exhaust system component member 10. The thickness of the gasket 8 is set according to a clearance between the joint surface 4 and the exhaust system component member 10 based on the thermal deformation amount of the pipe body 2, and is set as a thickness in each region divided by the bolt holes 6 in a circumferential direction.
