PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod holder which can simply change the direction of a fishing rod and is convenient. SOLUTION: The fishing rod holder 1 has a base body 10 capable of being attached to a ship edge F, a cylindrical holder 20 provided on the base body 10, and a fishing rod-holding portion 30 which has an insertion portion 31 inserted into the holder 20 and is connected to the holder 20, wherein the holder 20 has an inner peripheral portion 22 whose cross-section has a non-circular shape, the insertion portion 31 has an outer peripheral portion 32 corresponding to the inner peripheral portion 22, and can be fit to the axial direction of the holder 20 to connect to the holder 20, the holder 20 is inserted into the insertion portion 31 to fit the outer peripheral portion 32 to the inner peripheral portion 22, thereby fixing the holder 20 and the insertion portion 31 in a rotation-preventing manner.
