PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waist size adjusting tool to be used by attaching to the waist in order to adjust the waist size of trousers or a skirt, and adjusting the size in a fixed range. SOLUTION: This waist size adjusting tool 1 is made of a belt 4 in which adjustment projecting parts 4a are arranged at prescribed intervals, a base body 2 laterally installed with the insertion hole of the belt and including an attachment part, and an operation part movable crossing the insertion hole and including an engagement projecting part 3f engageable with the adjustment projecting part. The lower end surface of a through hole formed in the upper end part of the base body, and an engagement part formed projecting to one end surface side from the head part of the operation part 3 are engaged with each other. In more details, the waist size adjusting tool is such that the operation part is formed by extending a base part 3b including an engagement projecting part from the lower end of the head part, and extending a leg part 3c with elasticity from the lower end of the base part, a curved part 2i with elasticity is projected to the attachment part of the base body in the same direction as the base body, and the head part of the operation part is pressed so as to press the upper end surface of a bottom part 2c in the base body and provide the leg part in a bent manner.
