PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection recording head by which a sealing material can be stably applied even when the width of a tank case of the liquid ejection recording head is reduced. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection recording head includes a recording element substrate having an energy generation element for generating energy used for ejecting liquid, an electric wiring member electrically connected to the recording element substrate, and a support member supporting the recording element substrate and the electric wiring member. The liquid ejection recording head has a communication path coupling a region, which is sandwiched between a side face of the recording element substrate with respect to a face thereof having the energy generation element formed thereon and the support member, to an outer circumference of the support member.
