摘要 PURPOSE: Method and apparatus for measuring silica concentration are provided to measure the concentrate of silica at high precision in real time in a simple, easy and compact construction without reagent, such as molybdic ion. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring silica concentration is as follows. A light radiating unit radiates inspection light to a cell, in which solution does not flow(s1). Generated scattering light is detected by first and second light detecting units and each zero light intensity signal is output(s2). Reference liquid flows into a measured cell(s3). The light radiating unit radiates inspection light to phosphoric solution(s4). Scattering light generated from the phosphoric solution is detected by the first and second detecting units and each reference light intensity signal is output(s5). A coefficient calculating unit calculates each coefficient based on each zero light intensity signal and each reference light intensity signal(s6).
