PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a light emitting diode and a method for manufacturing the light emitting diode are provided to rapidly implement a series of operational processes by automating an inspecting process and a scrapping process with respecting to bad light emitting diodes. CONSTITUTION: An inspecting part(120) inspects light emitting diodes through a visual inspection. A rejecting part(140) scraps bad light emitting diodes based on the inspection result from the inspecting part. The rejecting part is composed of a punching head, a plurality of punching pins, and a punching support. The light emitting diodes are arranged in a plurality of columns and rows to form an array type light emitting diodes aggregate. |
