<p>The metal, pref. tin, bismuth, lead or their alloys, melting below 350 degrees C is maintained below 400 degrees C, in a reaction zone separated by at least one revolving cylinder placed horizontally along the upper surface of the fused metal and partially submerged in it. Pref. the process is continuous, with continuous removal of floating plates of product. The revolving cylinder avoids product adhering to walls, reduces metal in product, gives easy removal of ammonia and biuret and gives high yields of pure cyanuric acid, used for prodn. of triazine derivatives.</p> |
