<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an automotive decorative component which can correctly add patterns to the surface of an automotive component stock to decorate the component while suppressing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The automotive decorative component is manufactured through a lapped region forming step and a laser irradiation step. In the lapped region forming step, the image density of lapped regions 63a to 63d is set more thinly than the image density of ordinary drawing regions 66a to 66c. In the laser irradiation step, laser irradiation is performed for a plurality of laser irradiation regions, thus patterns formed based on the lapped regions 63a to 63d are lapped. In this way, the density of the pattern formed based on the lapped regions 63a to 63d is made nearly equal to the density of the pattern formed based on the ordinary drawing regions 66a to 66c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
