PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal sequence producing circuit that can produce a large amount of well-discriminatable signal sequences even if the start of communication from a signal oscillating source is not clear and the circuit is used in a communication system in which a signal is provided thereto randomly.

SOLUTION: A signal sequence producing circuit 1A produces a plurality of M-sequences in which all combinations thereof are preferred pairs with each other when taking up two M-sequences from the plurality of M-sequences gives delays to the produced M-sequences respectively, makes exclusive OR on the M-sequences with delays, and outputs the resultant signal sequences. A delay provision means 1B provides delays in such a manner that all combinations of any two signal sequences taken up from the signal sequences have a relation in which at least one of differences between delays given to the identical M-sequences is made different from the other when producing a plurality of signal sequences where combinations of M-sequences are formed from the identical ones.
