<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-air fuel cell that keeps high battery performance, even after long-term storage. <P>SOLUTION: The sugar-air fuel cell 100 includes a liquid fuel chamber 1, an oxidation electrode 3 and a reduction electrode 2 disposed at intervals in the liquid fuel chamber 1, a reducing sugar-containing liquid fuel 6 contained in the liquid fuel chamber 1, and oxygen reducing units 7 and 8 which do not oxidatively react with the oxidation electrode 3 and reduce the amount of oxygen in the liquid fuel chamber 1. An oxygen supply unit 9 is provided on the wall surface of the liquid fuel chamber 1 for supplying oxygen from the outside to the inside of the liquid fuel chamber 1, and the reduction electrode 2 is disposed while being in contact with the oxygen supply unit 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
