PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of a cleaning solution used and filling with the cleaning solution in a short time in cleaning filter cake. SOLUTION: Filter equipment includes a filter container 21, a filter element 2 making filter cake adhere within the filter container 21, a raw solution supply line 4 supplying raw solution to the filter container 21, a line 5 equipped with a connection switching valve V5 so as to allow the pressure in the filter container to escape, a cleaning solution supply line 7 filling the filter container 21 with the cleaning solution, a solution drawing-out line 8 drawing out the raw solution or the cleaning solution from the filter container 21, a pressurized gas supply line 11 equipped with a pressurized gas supply switching valve V8 so as to supply a pressurized gas to the filter container 21, and a control means 22 of controlling the connection switching valve V5 and the pressurized gas supply switching valve V8 so as to keep adhesion of filter cake to the filter element 2 throughout the operation from a raw solution drawing-out process to a cleaning solution drawing-out process.
