PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester obtained by allowing an overhang part to swell in the front side of a turning and expanding type grain tank axially supported by the rear part, and enabling a structure of a transmission system to be simplified while securing the release of lock and the operability of an operation lever for turning and expansion. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is equipped with a threshing apparatus (4) and the grain tank (5) parallelly arranged in the right and left direction, and the overhang part (5a) swelled frontward from the upper part of the grain tank (5) and axially supported by the rear terminal part. The grain tank (5) is equipped with two locking mechanisms (13, 14) one of which is constituted of a movable hook (13a) for engaging and fixing the threshing apparatus (4) side, and the other of which is constituted of a lock pin (14a) slidably movable in the upper and lower direction for engaging and fixing the lower part of a front wall (5b). An operation lever (16) for releasing both of the engagements by the operation to the outside direction (B) of the machine body by being connected thereto with wires is installed in the lower position in the overhang range (A) of the overhang part (5a).
