PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus suitable for correcting noise cancellation data in accordance with a change of fixed pattern noise. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a solid-state imaging element; a noise cancellation data holding module for holding noise cancellation data corresponding to fixed pattern noise of the solid-state imaging element; a pixel light-shielding module for light-shielding pixels in a part of the solid-state imaging element; a noise cancellation data correcting module for correcting the noise cancellation data base on a signal ratio between an imaging signal value of a light-shielded pixel and a signal value of the light-shielded pixel represented by the noise cancellation data; and a fixed pattern noise canceling module for canceling the fixed pattern noise included in an imaging signal outputted by the solid-state imaging element, by using the corrected noise cancellation data.
