GENE EXPRESSION ANALYSIS METHOD USING TWO DIMENSIONAL cDNA LIBRARY

Provided are a method and/or means for taking out each individual cell and analyzing the same and, at the same time, quantitatively monitoring the expression amounts of various genes while holding the two dimensional data of a biotissue. Specifically provided is a method which comprises preparing a cDNA library from mRNA while holding the two dimensional cell distribution data in a biotissue to obtain the gene expression amounts at an arbitrary site or all of the subject sites at the position resolution ability of a single cell level. More specifically, the distribution of the expression of a number of genes can be measured at a high accuracy by preparing a sheet-type cDNA library from mRNA while holding the two dimensional cell distribution data in a biotissue and then repeatedly using the same in steps for detecting gene expression.
