The invention relates to a double-walled casting for a liquid-cooled electric machine, between the walls of which the liquid coolant can be moved. The aim of the invention is to ensure good and uniform dissipation of heat over the entire lateral face. According to the invention, said aim is achieved in that the double-walled lateral face (3, 3', 3'') of the casting (1) is subdivided by annular peripheral inner ribs (12) into coolant ducts (11), wherein two longitudinal coolant ducts (5, 5') are formed parallel to the longitudinal mid-axis of the casting (1), in the area of which the inner ribs (12) are interrupted and, with respect to the longitudinal mid-axis, the longitudinal coolant ducts (5, 5') have openings (6, 6') at different ends, which are used as inlet and outlet for the cooling liquid. |
