The damper (1) has a disk-shaped primary mass (5) coupled with a disk-shaped secondary mass (6) such that rotation of the secondary mass for the primary mass causes an axial displacement of the secondary mass relative to the primary mass. An elastic element applies spring force based on the primary mass and/or the secondary mass, where the force opposes an axial movement of the masses. The force of the elastic element is adjusted by utilizing an adjustment device (24) that includes an axially adjustable stop part adjacent to the elastic element.
