The embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus and a system for file transmission between systems. The method includes: a file transmission service request message sent from a service trigger point is received wherein the file transmission service request message includes service identification information (S101). The service correlation information is acquired from a service list according to the service identification information (S102). The service correlation information is sent to a file transmission scheduling server so that the file transmission scheduling server can generate a flow example according to the service correlation information (S103). The file which is needed to be sent and corresponds to the service correlation information is transmitted from a file provision system to a file reception system according to the flow example (S104). In the embodiments of the present invention, the required files is acquired from a file provision point by a file transmission entity and sent to a file reception point, and therefore there is no need to develop a point-to-point adaptation interface. Using a uniform interface corresponding to the file transmission entity can implement the file transmission between systems and reduce the development cost.
