The embodiment of the present invention provides a self-injection locking light source, which includes: a polarization beam splitter, a first self-injection locking laser and a second self-injection locking laser which are coupled with said polarization beam splitter. Said polarization beam splitter performs polarization coupling for the polarization beam provided by said first and second self-injection locking laser, performs polarization splitting for the received reflected beam to provide said splitting reflected beam to said first and second self-injection locking laser respectively, wherein, the polarization direction of said first self-injection locking laser and said second self-injection locking laser aims at the two polarization directions of said polarization beam splitter respectively. The embodiment of the present invention also provides a method and system for light source self-injection locking and a wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network system thereof.
