The overall technical problem with internal combustion engines is to reduce fuel consumption during start and the following warm up of the engine. For private individuals most automobile trips consist of so called short stretches and Statistics Sweden reports that 54.7 percent or slightly over half of the Swedish workforce rides a car to their workplace and that 66.8 percent have fifteen kilometers or less to their place of work. It is known that vehicles consume often more than double the amount of fuel during start and so called short distance driving. The present invention is a Fuel efficiency improver that proclaims, compared with known technology, lowered fuel consumption, lowered emissions of non-combustible fuel and improved start and operational reliability. The Fuel efficiency improver does not only collect warm air that binds moisture and oxygen but even offers warm air during start of vehicles if so needed. The engine's heat energy is stored inside the insulated enclosure (6). The Fuel efficiency improver even interacts with a heat exchanger in order for it to receive heat energy and so that cold air can be supplied to the cylinder's compression.
