PURPOSE: A method for searching a concept image data based on a semantic web, a language analysis, and fuzzy color information is provided to offer a search interface which is familiar with a user by applying a natural language function to a color/pattern search. CONSTITUTION: Ontology database(40) maps color related words with a color histogram value and stores the edge information to a language process storage medium. The ontology database stores an OWL ontology repository and an image information data into an RDF(Resource Description Framework) triple type. A synonym searcher(330) extracts search words included in the query statement from the OWL ontology repository and questions to an ontology search engine(310).
