<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents or suppress degradation in accuracy in the supply of a recording medium by a supply means before and after deformation occurs on a lower frame side. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1, a supply unit 3 is supported by upper frames 21L and 21R. The front end of the receiver 2 is vertically positioned by fitting a positioning boss 37 which is present at the front end near the supply unit 3, into a positioning groove 45. Accordingly, even when lower frames 23L and 23R are deformed, the supply unit and the front end of the receiver 2 are both displaced following the upper frames 21L and 21R, and significant deviation in the relative position of the supply unit 3 and the front end of the receiver 2 is not caused. Accordingly, even when the lower frames 23L and 23R are deformed, the adverse effect of the supply unit 3 on accuracy in the supply of a recording medium is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
