<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fluid treatment article having a visible display element in which the display element is formed of a coloring material, and the average mass per predetermined area of the coloring material is increased toward the outside in vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: The panty liner 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2 located on the body side of a wearing person, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3 located on the clothing side opposite to the body side, and a second sheet 4 as an intermediate layer located between these sheets 2 and 3. The panty liner 1 further includes the display element 5 visible from the top sheet 2 side. The coloring material is applied to the display element 5 to form a gradation so that the concentration is reduced from a virtual transverse center line Q-Q to the outside in the vertical direction Y.
