<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain decrease in information transmission delay and communication failure occurrence and to attain reduction in server load by decreasing the practical number of information terminals connected to a server that distributes shared information. <P>SOLUTION: Each of information terminals includes: an idle state setting part for determining whether the information terminal is in an idle state where the information terminal may not be used based on state information indicating that a user is in a usage state; a representative terminal detection request part for transmitting a detection request requesting detection of a representative terminal within the same base to a server when it is determined that the information terminal is in the idle state, and for receiving information about the representative terminal from the server; and a streaming receiving part for receiving streaming information which is distributed from the server or from the representative terminal when it is determined that the information terminal is in the idle state. The server includes a representative terminal detection part for detecting the representative terminal belonging to the same base as a first information terminal when the detection request of the representative terminal is received from the first information terminal, and transmitting information about the representative terminal to the first information terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
