<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by restarting a job of data transfer when communication restarts even if the communication is interrupted when the data transfer is performed between a multifunctional peripheral device and external equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A means acquiring identification information establishes communication to obtain the identification information of an external storage device when the means is brought into a communicable state with the external storage device. An acquisition means obtains data transferred to the external storage device. When a detection means detects that the communication is disconnected during the transmission of data for transfer to the external storage device by a transmitting means, an association means makes the data for transfer whose communication is disconnected associated with the identification information of the external storage device to be stored in a storage means. A specification means compares the identification information of the external storage device in which the communication is disconnected read from the storage means with the newly obtained identification information of the external storage device, specifies the external storage device in which the communication is disconnected, and transfers the data for transfer whose communication is disconnected to the external storage device in the communicable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
