PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of construction by which the amount of use of a wet material and the amount of processing on a floor panel are curtailed. SOLUTION: A beam 1 and the floor panel 2 are connected to each other by using a joint metal 5. The joint metal 5 includes a base plate 54 comprising a beam abutting part 55 abutting on a lower surface of a flange 3 of the beam 1 and a panel abutting part 56 abutting on a lower surface of the floor panel 2 which are integrally formed. The joint metal 5 further includes a pin 51 extending upward from the beam abutting part 55 and inserted into a pin hole 11 formed in the flange 3 from below. Further, the joint metal 5 includes a bolt 53 extending upward from the panel abutting part 56 and inserted into a bolt hole 22 formed in the floor panel 2 from below, and a temporarily fixing spring 52 engaged with the beam 1 from the lower side of the beam 1 while being elastically deformed so that the joint metal 5 may be temporarily fixed to the beam 1. The joint metal 5 is fastened to the floor panel 2 by the bolt 53, a washer 59 and a nut 77. A gap between the bolt 53 and the bolt hole 22 is filled with the wet material 31.
