PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict occurrence of an accident caused by movement of another vehicle not by a road shape. SOLUTION: An accident occurrence prediction device includes: a prediction situation DB 18 holding an accident definition wherein a state having a possibility that the accident occurs between one's own vehicle and the other vehicle is defined by information about a relative position between the own vehicle and the other vehicle, information about moving vectors of the own vehicle and the other vehicle, and information about a factor fluctuating the moving vector of the other vehicle; an obtaining part (10A, 10B, 11, 14) obtaining, in such a state that the own vehicle is actually driven, the information about the relative position between the own vehicle and the other vehicle, the information about the moving vectors of the own vehicle and the other vehicle, and the information about the factor fluctuating the moving vector of the other vehicle; and a decision part 16 comparing the information obtained in the obtaining part and the accident definition, and deciding whether there is the possibility that the accident occurs.
