PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor which suppresses power consumption while using low viscosity lubricant and is highly reliable. SOLUTION: The efficiency and reliability can be improved for a long period of time by reducing the input by reducing the viscosity of a lubricating oil reserved in a sealed container 101 to VG3 to VG8, and furthermore by inhibiting dimer to pentamer of annular oligomer in the lubricating oil from depositing on the surface of an intake lead by reducing an evaporation rate at a negative pressure of the lubricating oil of 50×10<SP>2</SP>Pa or less at 100°C to 90 wt.% or less even if the total amount of the dimer to pentamer of the annular oligomer contained in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and etc. is increased.
