PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display without any risk of breaking a display element. SOLUTION: In the display having a front face frame 10 consisting of a conductive material having an opening part 11, a liquid crystal display panel (display element) 20 facing the opening part 11 and a circuit substrate 40 having a control means 42 controlling the display of the liquid crystal display panel 20 and for performing conduction connection of a ground line 44 and the front face frame 10 put on the circuit substrate 40, conduction connection of an output port 42a of the control means 42 and the ground line 44 is performed through a resistor element 43. The control means 42 performs control allowing a current to flow from the output port 42a to the ground line 44 through the resistor element 43 for only a prescribed time period.
