摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light emitting device with a plurality of organic EL (Electro Luminescense) elements capable of forming a common layer of uniform film thickness over the plurality of organic EL elements by a method of applying ink in the form of a liquid column. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the light emitting device with the plurality of organic EL elements for which a plurality of rows extending in a row direction different from a column direction are set in the predetermined column direction at predetermined intervals on a plane and which are disposed at predetermined intervals in the row direction on each row, each including a pair of electrodes and a common layer disposed between the electrodes commonly for the respective organic EL elements, includes the step of forming the common layer. At the common layer forming step, a process of applying and depositing the common layers at intervals of m rows in the column direction is performed on a row on which the common layer is not formed (m+1) times.
