PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument with stable electricity supplied to its light source and without the risk of causing a driving circuit etc. for driving a drive to malfunction. SOLUTION: This indicating instrument M includes a display board 20 comprising a display 21, the drive 60 disposed on the backside of the display board 20, an indicating member 70 comprising a base 71 positioned around a rotary shaft 61 and an indicator 72 indicating the display 21, and the light source 77 disposed on this indicating member 70. The indicating instrument M is equipped with: a coil 52 provided on the drive 60 side; a flexible substrate 90 comprising coiled wiring 92 and a conductive wiring 93, the coiled wiring 92 provided on the first arm 73 (the base 71) side so as to allow electromagnetic induction in the coil 52 and the conductive wiring 93 conductively connecting the coiled wiring 92 to the light source 77; and a shield 100 disposed on the conductive wiring 93 side so as to parallel the flexible substrate 90.
