PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of easily detecting at a start of heating cooking that a heating object that becomes a load is not inside a heating chamber by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This cooker includes the heating chamber disposed in a casing, an exhaust passage for guiding exhaust from inside the heating chamber to the outside, a cooling fan 16 disposed inside the casing for feeding a portion of air into the exhaust passage, an interior temperature sensor 71 for detecting the atmospheric temperature inside the heating chamber, and an exhaust duct temperature sensor 70 for detecting the atmospheric temperature inside the exhaust passage. Whether or not the cooker is in a non-load state in which there is no heating object in the heating chamber is determined by a non-load determining part 100b, at the start of cooking in a state of the cooling fan 16 being stopped by a fan control part 100a, based on the atmospheric temperature inside the heating chamber detected by the interior temperature sensor 71 and the atmospheric temperature in the exhaust passage detected by the exhaust duct temperature sensor 70.
