<p>The aloy has the compn. (atomic %) 4-30 Fe, 0-5 Cu, 40-60 Pt, balance Co. It may contain Ni in which case the content of Fe is 10 times that of Ni. The casting is heated to 900-1400 degrees C for at least 1 hr. to obtain lattice disorder, and aged at 500-800 degrees C for over 1 hr. a drop forging treatment being applied with a cooling and heating cycle prior to aging.</p> |
