PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw with ball spline, capable of solving fitting of a spline ball into a thread groove by designing a retainer shape. SOLUTION: A protruding portion 21 is provided in each pocket 18 of a retainer 15 of a spline outer cylinder 3 to reduce the radial inside opening of the pocket 18. The spline ball 5 receives a reaction from the protruding portion 21 by pressing the protruding portion 21 radially inwardly, whereby the fitting of the spline ball 5 into a male thread groove 6 is prevented.
