The device has an input converter i.e. microphone, receiving and converting and input signal into an electrical input signal. An output converter i.e. earpiece (7), converts an electrical output signal into an output signal perceptible by a user as an acoustic signal. A detachable converter protection device (9) is used for protection of the input or output converter against contamination. A pressure compensation channel (15) runs in a section (16) through a diaphragm carrier (9A) of the protection device for barometric pressure compensation for a sound channel (13) of the protection device. |
