The method involves partially opening a side window, when moving a vehicle door (12) from a closed condition to an opened condition, outer temperature is less than 0 degree Celsius and a door lock (26) is unlocked. The window is opened depending upon weather condition parameter that is detected by a detection device i.e. temperature sensor (24). The window is closed, and the vehicle door is moved to a closed condition, where the vehicle door includes a window pane (16) that is framed by a door frame (14). A window lifting device (18) is formed for moving the window pane. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle door arrangement including a vehicle door.
