The device has shielding clamps arranged adjacent to each other. Each clamp includes a base part (3.1) with two oppositely lying elastic brackets (3.2, 3.3). The clamps are arranged offset to each other on respective clips (2) in a transverse direction to a longitudinal axis of a U-shaped rail (1) i.e. U-shaped conductor rail, so that no mutual contact of the adjacent clamps takes place in a longitudinal direction of the rail. The base parts partially overlap the clips of the adjacent clamps in the longitudinal direction of the rail. Each clip is designed as a sheet metal strip.
