<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assisting device having excellent wearing feeling which credibly assists walking of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The walking assisting device includes a thigh attachment part attached to the thigh of a person, a lower thigh attachment part attached to the lower thigh of the person, and a foot attachment part attached to the foot of the person. The lower thigh attachment part is connected to the thigh attachment part in a swinging fashion, and the foot attachment part is connected to the lower thigh attachment part in a swinging fashion. The thigh attachment part restrains the thigh to which the thigh attachment part is attached from the front-back direction and permits relative movement of the thigh in the right-left direction and in the upper-lower direction. The lower thigh attachment part restrains the lower thigh to which the lower thigh attachment part is attached from the front direction and right-left direction, and permits relative movement of the thigh in the back direction and in the upper-lower direction.
