<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct rearranged storage media in a library device. <P>SOLUTION: A command conversion device 200 that converts a command from a host device into a command for a tape library device includes an LDSP execution section 220, a read/write execution section 230 and an UNLOAD execution section 240. When a tape cartridge to be accessed is found in a cell other than an original cell in the LDSP execution section 220, the read/write execution section 230 moves a tape cartridge in the original cell to another cell during access.
