<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for supporting document decoration, which present, to a user, template images which exactly express the contents indicated by a user-made document as its whole content. <P>SOLUTION: The system 1 for supporting document decoration, which supports decoration to a document prepared by a user, includes a pre-processing part 240 which analyzes the document and extracts characteristic words, a weight computation part 251 which computes the weights of the characteristic words to the whole content of the document, a template DB 231 which stores template images for decoration, a template attribute DB 231 which stores information on the attributes of the template images, an evaluation value computation part 252 which computes evaluation values to the template images on the basis of the weights of the characteristic words and the information on the attributes of the template images to the characteristic words, and a display part 130 which displays the template images to a user in evaluation-value descending order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
