PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine sewing thread for a down-containing textile product that is capable of effectively preventing down loss and puckering while accomplishing excellent stretchability and lightweight property, to provide a down-containing textile product using the above machine sewing threads, and to provide a method for producing the down-containing textile product. SOLUTION: The machine sewing thread for a down-containing textile product is characterized in that polyester filament yarns are subjected to water-repelling treatment with a water repellent and antistatic treatment.
