PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which consideration is made to cause a system error or the like as little as possible by cancelling the prohibition of output with respect to predetermined information that has no problem in security in the expected lack of system resources. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an output prohibition-canceling means in which, when it is determined that the present time is included in a processing prohibition time zone set by a processing prohibition time zone-setting means, the total amount of system resources measured by a resource usage measuring means is measured and when it is determined that the total amount of system resources reaches a predetermined reference amount, only for predetermined kinds of information, an output prohibition is canceled.
